Customer Blacklist & Allowlist

Blacklist​

Block a customer by email, phone number, or Shopify customer ID. Orders matching any of the three are cancelled in Shopify automatically. Each entry shows live order and attempt counts computed from your real records.

Allowlist​

Allowlisted customers fully bypass fraud scoring. Their orders are approved without evaluation, and the allowlist takes priority over every blocklist and rule. Use it for known-good customers who keep tripping signals (for example, a corporate buyer behind a VPN).

Because it bypasses everything, keep the allowlist short and review it occasionally.

Step by step: blacklisting a customer, and allowlisting a good one​

Blacklist

  1. Open Customer Blacklist, click Add customer.
  2. Enter any of email, phone, or Shopify customer ID (from the customer's page in Shopify admin). One is enough; more is safer.
  1. Their future orders are cancelled automatically.

Allowlist

  1. Switch to the Allowlist tab, click Add.
  2. Enter the same details for a customer you trust who keeps tripping signals (VPN at work, ships abroad).
  1. Their orders now skip fraud scoring entirely. Use sparingly and review the list every few months.
