A chargeback risk score for every order, computed alongside fraud scoring.

How it works​

This is a fixed-weight, rule-based score — not a learned model. Each order is scored on:

  • Datacenter, VPN or proxy IP
  • Billing vs. shipping mismatch (country or postcode)
  • Disposable email domain
  • High-risk country
  • Order value over $500
  • New customer (first order)
  • Repeated checkout attempts from the same IP

High is 70–100, Medium 40–69, Low below 40. High-risk orders raise an alert.

An honest limit​

Shopify does not share dispute outcomes with apps, so FlexifyGuard cannot check its score against real chargebacks or learn from them. Treat it as a consistent early warning, not a probability.
