Settings

Background video plays muted. If you need sound, use a section with a normal video player instead.
Video upload	video	Video (Shopify-hosted)		Hosted by Shopify. Takes precedence over the external video below.
External video	video_url	Video URL (YouTube/Vimeo)		Loaded only when the section scrolls into view, so it costs nothing above the fold.
Video description	video_alt	Text		Describes the video for screen readers. Leave empty if it is purely decorative.
Cover image
Cover image	cover_image	Image		Strongly recommended. Shown while the video loads and whenever autoplay is refused, which happens on low power mode, data saver, and for visitors who ask for reduced motion.
Mobile cover image	cover_image_mobile	Image		Falls back to the cover image above.
Size
Height	height_mode	Dropdown	fixed	Full screen fills the viewport below the header. The pixel heights below apply only to Fixed. Options: Fixed height, Full screen, Widescreen (16:9).

Loading
Autoplay	autoplay	On/off	On	Switch off to show the cover image until a visitor presses play.
Load the video only when it scrolls into view	lazy_load	On/off	On	Keep this on unless the section is the first thing on the page, where loading immediately gives the video the best chance of autoplaying.
